After Surgery
After Surgery: PACU
Immediately following your procedure, we'll move you to a recovery area where we will monitor you until you're discharged, this time varies based on your surgery.
Once you're fully awake, your family can join you in the recovery area.
It's normal to feel some discomfort at the surgery site, as well as some drowsiness or dizziness, depending on what anesthesia you received. Your nurse will help address these concerns.
Our nursing staff will review your discharge instructions with you and your family. Be sure to ask any questions you may have.
If appropriate, you will work with our Physical Therapist to be sure you know how to best care for yourself at home.
Patients scheduled to spend the night with us will be taken to their private room in our Inpatient Unit.
After Surgery: Inpatient
Our Inpatient unit is equipped with 12 spacious private rooms with private bathroom. Our dedicated nurses and nursing assistants work closely with our physical therapy team to provide post surgical education to ensure your safety and confidence prior to discharge from the facility.
